Framing Party a Success!

On Saturday, January 10th, eleven staff and friends under the keen direction of our framing adviser Al Weirmeir worked throughout the day framing and wrapping 100 Centennial murals.

Once we figured out the assembly line, we moved along as well as any Big 3 operation. We formed a framing department, a final assembly department, a quality control department and a packaging department.

Departments heads were all experienced and qualified by day's end. They are ready for the next round of 100 later on this spring.

Hats off to: Chuck Cheek, John Garbacik, Dave Lloyd, Nancy Burtka, Larry Burtka, Sean Goldsmith, Patrick Mallon, Michael Mallon , Tammy (Michael's friend), Frank Mallon, and Al Weirmeir.

This busy activity took us 6 hours. Dave Llloyd furnished the noon pizza and Island Lake resort complex furnished the facilities.

Great job by everyone. True teamwork, true scouting spirit. The wrapped motor home was parked out in the main lot for display while this team of engineers preformed their tasks inside where the snow was not falling.

Website Testing

the new A Century of Values website has entered testing. The graphic look and feel is not complete, but we are working hard on it. Currently we're much further along on the content, navigation and other features of the site.
We plan to go live on November 26, 2007 to coincide with our launch event.
