Bio of Frank Mallon

Frank Mallon

Scouting History:
Frank Mallon was a Boy Scout and an Explorer growing up in Laingsburg, Michigan. He was the first Scout in his community to receive the Catholic Religious Award and the rank of Eagle Scout. Frank went on to become a Professional Scouter serving in two Council offices here in Michigan. They were the Gerald R. Ford Council in Grand Rapids and the Detroit Area Council where he retired after 22 years in the BSA professional ranks.

Personal:
Frank Mallon has been married for 30 years. He and his wife have two sons of which both have attained the rank of Eagle Scout. Frank has been very active in the Rotary for over 24 years. He is also retired United States Army reserve as a Lieutenant Colonel. Frank's hobbies include playing sports, umpiring adult softball games, gardening, photography and travel.

Why A Century of Values:
I guess you can say it was my brain child. What a great way to help America celebrate the Boy Scouts of America's 100th birthday!
